Terminal transaction charges
See exactly what each Terminal payment costs. Crate charges a flat naira fee per transaction based on the amount, and settles funds to your account within 24 hours.
Every payment you take through Crate Terminal carries a small, flat processing fee. Unlike online gateways, the fee isn't a percentage — it's a fixed naira amount that depends only on the size of the transaction, so it's easy to predict and easy to price around.
The fee tiers
The charge is banded by transaction amount:
- Below ₦1,000 — ₦50 per transaction
- ₦1,000 to ₦4,999 — ₦75 per transaction
- ₦5,000 and above — ₦100 per transaction
That's the whole table. A ₦600 sale and a ₦950 sale both cost ₦50; a ₦12,000 sale costs ₦100.
Fast settlement
The upside of Terminal is speed. Funds from your Terminal sales are transferred to your personal account within 24 hours — there's no long settlement wait.
A note on who pays
Online gateway fees can be passed to your customer, but Terminal fees are handled per channel on this page, and the flat fee applies to the transaction either way. To change who covers fees on your online gateways instead, see Set who pays the transaction charge.
