Instagram and Crate
One catalogue behind the storefront, the bio link and the DMs.
Can I sell on Instagram with Crate?
Yes. The catalogue behind your Instagram selling is the same catalogue behind your storefront, so a product edited once is correct in both places and a sale in either place moves the same stock count. That includes the shoppable link in your bio, the products you send in a direct message, and the storefront a follower lands on. Nothing is exported, synced or reconciled, because there is only one catalogue.
What it does
Each line below is either available today or labelled planned in its own words. Nothing here is aspirational without saying so.
- A shoppable link for the bio, built from the same catalogue.
- Products sent in a direct message that a buyer can actually pay for.
- One stock count across the storefront, Instagram and the till.
- Attribution, so you can see which posts turned into orders.
Setting it up
Four steps, from a phone, in about ten minutes.
- In Crate, open Settings, then Channels, then Instagram.
- Connect the business account.
- Pick the collection the bio link should open on.
- Put the link in your bio.
